This is from a previous xanga: (( OuT OF CHARACTER: Okay the last post were chapters to set up what would be going on in this Riza X Roy roleplay. so now I will actually be in Riza's point of view. Riza x Roy forever!)) I waited in silence today because I had this feeling that Roy was going to be promoted and will leave behind his team and me. I don't think he has suspected me yet. He does not know that he has a girl who wants more than anything to be his girl. Yet, he exited the office unhappy. He turned to me and simply said, "I will not go without my friends." I nodded and smiled a secret smile. I was now happy that he was not going to leave me. I wanted to reach out to him and grab his shoulder, turn him around, and tell him what I feel. A part of says no, the other says yes.
"Roy." I say. I can't speak, the words will not form.
"Yes, Riza?" He askes back.
"Oh nevermind, sir." I felt so stupid! Why can't I just let him know! I walk back with him and enter his office with him. I offer to help straighten out papers and he willingly agrees. I saw a letter from a girl named Mellie. Ah yes, his girfriend. I was being nosy and began to read what it says:
Dear Roy, My darling it is true that I love you but the spark isn't there anymore. I don't feel the connection between us anymore. I love you, but for the both of us, I think we should quit. Love,
Mellie That girl dumped the best man in the military and the world in my opinion! Does that mean at the Annual Military Ball Roy won't have a date?  Chapter One: So Sick Riza lay in bed sick as ever. She felt like crap and wanted to go to work but she couldn't even get out of bed before she had to sit down again. Her energy was spent. She had never been this sick. There was surprising knock at the door. She gave permission to the mysterious visitor to come in. A man with black hair and navy blue eyes stood in her doorway. She was completely shocked to see Colonel Roy Mustang there. He had a dozen roses in his hands. She smiled and he walked over her bed side. He pulled up a chair and sat next her. He grabbed her hand and held it firmly but gently. She closed her hand around his hand. She suddenly felt such a strong attraction to him. She knew deep inside that she loved him but did he know this? "Riza, will you be able to come back soon? I miss having you at the office you know." Roy said quietly. "I...I am not...sure when I will...be able to come...back." Riza answered weakly. "Seeing you like this and hearing you speak like so is breaking my heart. You sound like you are gonna die." "I don't want to die, Roy but I think I am." Roy suddenly had tears comming from his eyes. He leaned over and held her in his arms. "I can't lose a best friend. I have already lost one before." I am only his "best friend" Riza thought and she began to cry. Her heart was slightly broken by what Mustang said. END OF CHAPTER Chapter 2: Just Best Friends "I can't lose a best friend. Roy let go of her hand and looked at the clock. "I have to go, Riza. I have to meet Mellie at 3." Roy said quickly as he put his chair back. "Who is Mellie?" Riza asked as she sat up. "Oh..yeah...someone I met a long time ago and...look I have to go or she will never let me hear the end of it. I can't be late for a date. Good-bye, Hawkeye." Roy closed the door and Riza broke down. Hayate took notice and climbed up on the bed. He licked the tears away and she smiled at him. She suddenly was thinking weird thoughts. Don't cry out loud, Riza. Just keep things inside and learn how to hide your feelings. I am going back to work tommorrow. She thought. END OF CHAPTER
